Hailama Designs draws its name from my maternal family, evoking cherished memories of my childhood in Hau'ula, nestled on the breathtaking North Shore of Oahu. These memories inspire and guide us as we infuse our business with the core values instilled in me by my family. At Hailama Designs, we work hand in hand, bringing these family values to life with the unwavering support of my loving husband, alongside our four children and six grandchildren. Together, we create a harmonious environment that reflects our commitment to authenticity and sincerity in all that we do.

In my heart, I firmly believe in Managing with Aloha, a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our business. This guiding principle encourages us to stay grounded, genuine, and true to ourselves, our customers, and our community. At Hailama Designs, we are dedicated to maintaining a genuine connection with our clients, delivering products and services that resonate with their unique needs and desires.

Our journey began in April 2018 with a modest investment of $250 and the collaboration of two talented seamstresses. From these humble beginnings, we have witnessed remarkable growth and expansion. Today, Hailama Designs proudly offers contracted services not only on the Big Island and in Honolulu but also abroad, as we grow to accommodate the increasing demands of our valued clientele. 

As a team, we are passionate about our craft and take great pride in the quality and attention to detail that goes into every piece we create. From stunning garments to home decor, we pour our hearts and souls into every stitch, infusing each item with the essence of our Hawaiian heritage and the spirit of aloha.
